Review: I got this battery to replace my original Sony's battery. However, this battery does not last as long as the original one. I do not believe this is brand new as it claimed in the selling listing. It is recondition or some sort.

Review: Its hard buying a battery online. Not knowing what you will receive. This is an original Sony battery which lasts around 2.5 and at a streach 3 hours regardless of how you seup your battery save and even of you turn off the radio. Amazon is the place to go if you need this. Great service.
Its better to buy an extended battery right off the bat when you buy a laptop.

Review: I paid $800 for a Sony laptop to only have the battery quit after 1.5 years. Then I paid $200 for a new battery.... Guess what brand laptop I will not buy next time???? It's a crime that Sony pulls this on their customers, I'm sure this battery only cost them ~$20 to make, it's just another way to get money from the customer after the initial sale. Well, you just lost a customer. As for the battery, it charges and works, at least for another 1.5 years.....

Review: Purchased the battery for my Sony Vaio VGN-SZ160P about 3 months ago and it works just as well as when the computer was originally purchased 2 years ago. It's unfortunate that the battery needs to be replaced within 2 years, especially at such a high price point ($171.99). I guess that comes with the territory.
